At CQU you have two campuses to choose from, either the Rockhampton campus, offering the Real Australian Experience or the Gold Coast Beach, surf and sand. We aim to provide excellent English language tuition in a friendly, relaxed and quality environment. CQU English Language Centre is fully accredited by the National ELT Accredited Scheme (NEAS).
English Language Centre Students have access to: audio visual equipment, computer laboratories with free internet and email access, multi-level university library at Rockhampton or electronic library at the Gold Coast, University Student Card, academic and welfare support officers, small lectures and tutorial and ongoing support for communication and study skills. CQUs International student support team is available to all currently enrolled students.
The student support team aims to help international students develop successful strategies for coping with the challenges of living and studying in an unfamiliar culture, to achieve success in their studies and to make the experience of being an international student rewarding and enjoyable.
The Centre is accredited to administer the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests. The tests are administered throughout the year.
